3 Day Refresh Review...

I decided to take Beachbody's 3 Day Refresh with a goal to lose a few more pounds, eliminate diet soda, and learn about the program, so I couldshare with others. For over a year, I considered the 3 DayRefresh and feared that I couldn't follow the meal plan because it doesn't have meat and limited liquid choices. No caffeine didn't worry me since I went over 1 1/2 years without caffeine...twice (when I was pregnant & nursing my girls)!! However, giving up all diet soda and meat is something VERY difficult for me.  I have been following the 21 Day Fix meal plan for the past year and love it because it allows me to eat 5-6 times a day with very few limitations.  However, I decided it was time for me to take the challenge and grow with the 3 Day Refresh.   Here is a little info and intro to the 3 Day Refresh... This is an overview of the meal plan for the 3 Day Refresh.... Prepping for the 3 Day Refresh:  Prior to beginning my 3 day refres

6 Weeks Til Summer..time to reorganize the closet....

Saturday morning we decided to take the girls to Breakfast with the Works at Keeneland which started at 7am. I got out of bed and completed Total Cardio Fix at 5:45am, then showered and got the girls ready. We left the house at 7:35am and I was worried it we wouldn't make it...as breakfast is only served until 8:30am... and it takes approximately 20-30 minutes to get there from our house.  So we got in the car and headed that way with our shades and smiles on..... Although I grew up near Keeneland and have lived in Lexington for the past 20 years, I have never made it to Keeneland early enough for breakfast.  This event is fabulous for families with kids and those without. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet, arts and crafts, silks dress ups and pictures, trackside viewing of horses training, and tours of the ground. It isn't as busy compared to afternoons when there are races, so it's a perfect time for the kids to run around and to take pictures.... I

I'm a Team Beachbody Coach because...

A recent church service focused on purpose and began and ended with the question..."Have you ever wondered why you're still alive?" Throughout the service I thought about this question and felt my best answer is "to teach, motivate and inspire." I do these on several levels from a mom, wife, and friend.  As a mom of two princesses, Courtney (7) and Caroline (2) I work hard to teach them values, manners and skills daily. It isn't easy and sometimes I lose my patience but I am working each day to be a better me. My husband, Matt and I do several things differently and teach and motivate each other as we strive to strengthen our relationship.  It can be hard sometimes and we don't always have the same process for completing tasks. But we become stronger by learning to work together in various situations.  As a friend, I am often asked for time management, organization and fitness advice. Personally it's not always easy juggling multiple
