Focus on your options and act on your own behalf

In the words of the Greek philosopher Heraclitus, “Everything flows and nothing abides; everything gives way, and nothing stays fixed.” To achieve focus on what is possible, focus on your options when you face a challenge, illness or pain.  All things change, and we will not be in the same condition all the time.  When my job was eliminated, I learned that continuing to get up early, read a short devotion and reflect kept me focused and in control of me.  I was able to learn more about myself and stay positive by reading encouraging words and talking to Matt and friends about my situation. After the workout I spent 45 minutes trying to convince Courtney to take her medicine (yes my workout took less time than the convincing)...and when she finally did take it, it didn't stay down    I spent the rest of the morning playing wi...
