Treat NOT Cheat | Pumpkin Spice Shake

Oh...I was spooked when I realized I was out of Cafe Latte and had to switch to Chocolate Shakeology this morning!!! But no fear...I found this amazing chocolate superfoods recipe!! My breakfast was the healthiest meal l'll have all day AND it will scare away sugar craving s for the rest of the day!!! And yet I still get asked..."WHY do you drink Shakeology EVERY DAY?!?!" Well here are a few of the reasons... > It’s a WHOLE FOOD and contains no processed ingredients, chemicals, or artificial sugars > It has 8-9 servings of fruits and veggies in one scoop. > It curbs my cravings for candy and other treats.  >I don’t need to take a multivitamin because it has the vitamins and minerals I need daily. >It gives me energy without the jitters since it isn't a stimulant. >The probiotics and prebiotics help keep my digestive system on track  > I can make it in less than a minute.  >It is one meal a day I do

Miracle Morning Challenge

Another amazing family weekend started with friends and family at the Andover Country Club pumpkin carving and hayride.  The girls had a great time with us and their friends tooo.  Caroline loved the hayride but Courtney said it wasn't scary enough. Saturday morning Caroline had her last soccer game and got a medal.  She was so proud of it she wanted to wear it the rest of the weekend...even to the pumpkin patch and church.  Courtney went to Richmond for the EKU Homecoming game.  She got to walk in the pre-game walk with the dance team since she went to the dance clinic the week before.  RiRi and PaPa brought her home and watched the 1st half of the exciting UK game...down to the last seconds and UK pulled out the win!! Sunday we went to church and I taught children's church with Courtney's help.  I still get anxious when I teach children's church.  I don't know why...I am fine when I am in the class but I always worry I won't get their attention and it

Miracle Morning Challenge Starts Oct 24

When the alarm goes off in the morning, I get out of bed and turn it off quickly (trying not to wake up Matt).  This isn’t something I’ve always done…I actually had to move the alarm across the room about 9 months ago so that I’d stop hitting snooze and get up earlier.  I haven’t moved it back closer to my bed because the routine has been working so well. Once I’m up, I sometimes consider going back to bed, but 99% of the time I put on my workout clothes and head downstairs. Maybe you see my posts each morning at 6am and think there is no way you could ever get up so early.  But are you sure?   Have you ever tried to start your day 1 hour earlier? Two years ago I was “too busy” to get to the gym and didn’t think I could add anything else to my plate.  Then I realized waking up earlier and being productive actually added energy and positivity to my day.  I went from working out once a week to 6-7 days a week for 30 minutes a day.  Are you looking to adjust your weekly routine to

Motherhood Transformation after 8Years

WOW...what a difference in 8 years!!.Do you see the differences? In the left picture is a new mom...happy yet unsure about how to put all the pieces together. Her smile is forced and her shoulders are pushed forward because she's not truly confident with herself. She is hiding behind a baggy shirt and the toddler. She doesn't think eating healthy will matter because she can't get to the gym anyway and she's been told that's just the way it is for moms. She's trying to hold everything together but she's still trying to figure it all out! Then there is the mom on the right who has a very natural and comfortable smile.  Her shoulders are back and she is full of confidence. She is comfortable in her skin and has thrown out all the baggy clothes. She is an energized wife and mom of 2 girls. Her time is limited between working full-time, kid activities and events with friends, but she schedules in "me" time with daily workouts and reading. She has
