Getting Prepared...BIG Week Ahead...

This summer my daughter, Courtney, is NOT going to extended school camp like usual, so we have a BIG week ahead as it's the first week of "summer vacation" for her!!  Instead she has swim team practice in the morning, dance camp in the afternoon and dance class after camp on Monday & Tuesday.  Then Wednesday is her first swim meet and Thursday and Friday nights we can catch our breath!  Caroline also has a new schedule at school with Water Play on Tuesday and Friday...and Share Day on Thursday.  But what I am looking forward to the most is daycare ordering lunch for Caroline on Wednesdays...which means no packing her lunch on Tuesday night...sounds like such a small thing but after packing lunch everyday...it's night to take a break. For the other days, I make packing lunches easier throughout the week by spending an hour in the kitchen prepping fruits and veggies for the week on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. Even though school is out for my oldest da

Support from Friends is the BEST Monday Motivation...

The alarm went off this morning and I hit snooze.  It went off again, I hit snooze again.  Then I got a text from my accountability partner, Traci Severe Wade.  She was starting her workout...and I was still in bed.  I had 5 minutes to get dressed and push play or the rest of my morning routine would be completely thrown off.  I thought about staying in bed and skipping the workout, but then what would I say in my text reply and what would I post here? I know to some it may sound like the craziest way to get motivated, but it worked...I got out of bed, put on the clothes I had laid out last night and hit play at 5:33am...3 minutes late.  To make up for those 3 minutes, I skipped the cooldown with Autumn and stretched my arms as I waited for the shower water to get warm...I swear it takes 3 minutes of running the water for it to get warm...I know that's another story :)  So I got ready for work and out the door...pretty much on time and have a fabulous sense of accomplishment and

Opportunity is Knocking...Open the door...

A year ago, I started running more outside. The days were longer and I knew the pool would be opening soon, so I tried to increase the intensity of my workouts from a walk to a run. It lasted maybe a week and then it got "too hot." I tried to go to the gym nightly but by the time I got the girls to bed I was either too tired and just hit the couch or went to the gym but only did 30 minutes on cardio machines. I wasn't seeing any change on the scale or with my clothes. Then my friend Lindsay posted a "before and after" picture from her results with 21 Day Fix. I instantly messaged her for info, but then pondered about it for several weeks. The pool opened and I sat next to my stunning friend Ella who informed me that I was to no longer wear tankini's...I needed to wear bikini's. She was sweet as could be...saying I looked great as a mom with 2 kids. Well, I wasn't uncomfortable wearing a bikini, but I knew if I worked out hard, I could get results

Less than 2 weeks until pool season, so I have my "GAME FACE" on and am motivated to shred a few more pounds and tone!  I am totally focused on PiYo this week and then moving back to 21 Day Fix.  I'm drinking Shakeology for breakfast, I'm tracking my food and following the 21 Day Fix meal plan!  So you might be reading this thinking, "WOW...I NEED TO GET I MY "GAME FACE ON" BUT I JUST CAN'T FIND MY MOTIVATION!!! That is what I am here for! My job and passion as a Beachbody coach is to help you find your inner strength, teach you how to be strong and teach you the basics of healthy choices! I grew up eating fat free and low fat. I was calorie counting and weighing myself daily and using it for my motivation.  Unfortunately it was NOT going well for me!  I wasn't losing weight, my energy level was low and I was "HUNGRY" which makes me VERY moody and is not a pretty sight!   When I found the 21 Day Fix Meal Plan Guide I realiz

What would you think about decreasing your pant size by 1-2 sizes in 21 day?    21 Day Fix gave me those types of results....and I actually looked forward to getting up at 5am each morning. After 40 days I had lost 12 pounds and went down 3 pant sizes!!
