Each week at church I take notes during the sermon and stick them in my purse. This week as I pulled out the paper to put it in the recycler, I thought...why do I even take notes if I don't share them with anyone or put them where I can revisit them in the future. And then it hit me...I can put them on my blog!!! They may or may not mean anything to anyone else, but they might and I will be able to review them as I look through my posts each month. So here is the 1st of my church notes....
--those that are meek or humble....just like finding a wild horse and breaking it.
Meekness is knowing your strength and using it to give to God and others rather than just being strong and going wild with your strength.
2. Who will be satisfied?
--those that hunger for the thirst of righteousness.
Snickers may make us satisifed for a moment but then we will need more and be hungry.
Eating healthy and the best nutrients will keep us full longer with more energy.
Being right with God and others is fulfilling and satisfying.
3. Who will have mercy?
--those that show mercy to others.
Live life knowing things are planted on our riverbank...make those thing positive as they will flowinto your stream of life. Don't let your riverbed get polluted with the negative
Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable.
These are not natural things, they must be learned.
You must be taught them and allow aupport. .
Continue to come to church and be willing to let them in.
Are you willing to take the risk and be merciful?
It's not easy...we need to support one another and stay strong!
