It All Starts With YOU!

When you fly, it always suggest to take care of yourself in an emergency before helping someone next to you. However, day to day it seems we always help others rather than take time for ourselves.  That is until now....it's time to.... PUT YOURSELF FIRST!!! Ok, I know how it feels to be everything to everyone....Work, kids, husband, pets, cooking, cleaning... the list goes on and on.  I used to do it too...I'd put my self at the bottom,   crash into bed  exhausted and  wake up  tired . It was like a hamster on a wheel. So can you break this  cycle ? YES YOU CAN AND I CAN HELP! BACK TO YOU, BACK TO BASICS In September, I'm starting a BACK TO YOU, BACK TO BASICS, hands-on, 4-week program to help women put themselves FIRST, find inner HAPPINESS and create a routine that will create LONG TERM success. This is a program that will focus on filling your cup  FIRST  so that you can pour into others without feeling  GUILTY  or stretched.

Ladies Overnight in October

You know those friends you have that you could talk to forever...you have so much in common and wish you could have girls night multiple times a week?!? They are the friends that are there for you through thick and thin and always know just what to say to lift you up, encourage you and push you forward!! Well I got together with a few of those friends last weekend and we had a blast talking, trying new recipes and trading ideas to manage our busy schedules!! We decided 2 hours wasn't enough time, so we scheduled a Ladies overnight at The Bennett House Bed and Breakfast in October!! We are going to face some fears and build trust on a ropes course, enjoy a fancy dinner and share leadership and time management tips to help in our busy lives and to build a successful business to help others! Oh and we have room for 5 more ladies that are too busy to add another thing to their plate but in need of girl time and fun to join us!! If you enjoy helping other people and have a goal to

Having a Meal Plan Does NOT Mean you DON'T Eat!!!

Check out all the different things I've enjoyed over the last 3 weeks  while implementing a Low Carb Meal Plan!!!  Eggs, fruit and cottage cheese Steak with mushrooms, salad with olives and strawberries and broccoli Fabulous "manager specials" I found during week 1 This is what it looks like in the portion control containers.  Steak with mushroom (my favorite), sweet potato and salad Salad with avocados, olives and tomoatos The program comes with a meal plan guide that's easy to follow and gives lists of what can be included in your weekly meal plan.  Took my Cafe Latte Shakeology with me as a snack to a birthday party! Packing snacks and lunch for myself and my girls to go to the lake.  Steak, green beans and salad.  Carrots, snow peas, cucumbers, hummus and La Croix sparkling water. Taco Skillet on lettuce with salad.

Shift Shop Update....Week 3 Meal Plan & Results

For me, making a shift in my workout and eating healthier wasn't about losing weight...The last 3 months have been rough due to my job situation but having a private group in Facebook to post about my struggles and accomplishments keep me positive and moving forward. I pushed myself to tone not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. In addition to muscle, I gained confidence and patience through daily workouts, following a low carb meal plan and 10-15 minutes of listening to "The 5 Second Rule" This was the most challenging program I've done in the last 3 years but through it I found a renewed love for pea nut butter and proved to myself that I CAN do anything I commit to by taking one day at a time, reaching out for guidance from friends and leaning on my family for support. It's not easy to create a plan and stick with it when you are busy but it's even harder to eat healthy when you are busy and don't have a plan.  Failing to plan

Make a Shift with Dessert

Growing up I remember summer nights watching baseball with my dad and having a bowl of cereal or ice cream...almost every single night. So when I was pregnant with the girls this craving came back but never went away. Yet I couldn't understand why I had hit a plateau with my weight since I was walking outside nightly and eating low fat ice cream and other snacks. However when I started meal planning and shifting my snacks from goldfish to veggies and stopped having ice cream I started seeing results. As I created my meal plan this week I wasn't sure how I'd get 5 servings of proteins in a day so I went to find ideas. I've been craving ice cream and desserts so I decided to go with this special Vanilla Cinnamon Yogurt with peaches!! Yummy!! And it's just as good as vanilla ice cream and peaches!! Healthy eating doesn't have to be plain and boring...it CAN be tasty!!! Ingredients:  Non Fat Greek Yogurt 1 Scoop Vanilla Shakeology 1 Tbsp Cinnamon Dire

I do it for me. I do it for you.

I come 1st and do this for me.  I wake up early each morning while everyone else in my house is asleep, so I have "me time."  I do the workouts and commit to the challenge to prove to myself I can do them and to show that you can do them too. I am a "product of the product."  I do the workouts and I share them.  I don't just say you should do them, I show why you should do them by actually doing them myself and getting the results that are advertised.  I drink the shakes and share recipes.  I create meal plans and follow them. I share the plan and the food I eat. I share those recipes too.  I host accountability groups and share what's happening in the group and how others are achieving results.  I lead a team and share it's growth, our fun events and how you can join us too.  I can't help everyone.  I can only help so many. You can make time for you, love that time and share your struggles and successes too. It may look s
