For me, making a shift in my workout and eating healthier wasn't about losing weight...The last 3 months have been rough due to my job situation but having a private group in Facebook to post about my struggles and accomplishments keep me positive and moving forward.
I pushed myself to tone not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. In addition to muscle, I gained confidence and patience through daily workouts, following a low carb meal plan and 10-15 minutes of listening to "The 5 Second Rule"

This was the most challenging program I've done in the last 3 years but through it I found a renewed love for peanut butter and proved to myself that I CAN do anything I commit to by taking one day at a time, reaching out for guidance from friends and leaning on my family for support.
It's not easy to create a plan and stick with it when you are busy but it's even harder to eat healthy when you are busy and don't have a plan. Failing to plan is Planning to fail. So you have to take time each week even when you don't want to and create a plan for the week. Write it down, print it out and adjust throughout the week as needed. The plan isn't set and stone...as things come up....AND they will...you can adjust what you eat but still be sure to consume the right amount of the right foods that YOU need.
I'm ramping up to move into Round 2....I'll continue daily intense workouts and teach Country Heat LIVE twice a week. However, I am returning to a portion control meal plans with only a few limits/restrictions.
I will continue to get stronger and maintain my results, by moving forward with healthy habits and co-hosting a new challenge focused on incorporating workouts and meal planning even with school and football season starting soon!!
