Time to get the tools to become A Little Obsessed

Time to get the tools for 80 day obsession

NOW IS THE TIME to create a new, healthy obsession!!

What does it mean to be obsessed?!?!
To be obsessed is to be preoccupied or to fill the mind of someone or something continually.

So is being a little obsessed a good thing or a bad thing?
Personally I think it depends.

If you are obsessed with sweets, lounging 24/7 or negativity, being obsessed can be bad.
Yet, if you are obsessed with fruits and veggies, exercise and positive mindset, it's a good thing.

The purpose of A Little Obsessed and 80 Day Obsession

So the countdown is on for the 80 Day Obsession program, created by fitness expert Autumn Calabrese launch in January, but before it arrives, A Little Obsessed will get us started in December!!

These programs are NOT about being obsessed with workout out or starving yourself.
The purpose is to see YOURSELF as a priority!!
Make time for yourself and you will be healthier and happier...and everyone around you...your family, friends, co-workers and community will follow too!!

This program will transform your mind and body.
You WILL realize you are capable of starting and finishing and achieving amazing results!!

What is the 80 Day Obsession?

The 80 Day Obsession workout program is an effective, step-by-step approach to building a shaped, curvy butt while simultaneously shrinking the core. It's 80 days of obsessive focus on fitness and nutrition spread over 13 weeks.

Is it extreme? YES, but there are modifications.  The workouts are intense and average 45-60 minutes in length.  The meal plan guidelines are more demanding than Autumn's portion control plan.  This meal plan is a professionally calibrated macro-nutrition plan perfectly rimed to produce amazing results at each phase of the program.  It's intense and designed to help you achieve the best shape of your life. It's essential to follow the workout and meal plan to get the results you are expecting and similar to those described in online videos.

The program works your entire body but on specific days you will focus on your butt, legs, core, arms or cardio.  Each workout is different and were filmed in real time with Autumn Calabrese and a test group watching.  You WILL be sore, but I have something that will help limit that!!

What equipment is needed?

Access to Beachbody On Demand
Light, medium and heavy weights
Resistance loops
Sliders
Yoga Mat

More details about the nutrition plan

All of the nutrition plans have not been released to the general public, but my coach, Melanie was in the test group and provided these details to me:

I can tell you that the nutrition plan follows the portion fix containers for measurements but it is totally different than the 21 day fix or other Beachbody programs.  You are eating at specific times of the day and you have a pre and post workout meal.

You can keep it basic and follow the meal plan or you can get fancy with your recipes.  I honestly prefer to keep it as simple as possible.  I replace 1 meal or snack a day with Shakeology  and I use the Beachbody Performance Line every single day.  I use the Energize pre workout, the hydrate during my workout, recovery post workout and recharge 30 minutes before bed at night. It truly is my saving grace.  I will say that it is worth every single penny of investment.

The best part about the whole program is that you get to have a refeed day in which you get to have more carbs to refuel and jolt your body back into results.  The first refeed happened at week 6!

Who is 80 Day Obsession for?

This program is for anyone who wants to see how far they can go with results. It is HIGHLY recommended to have a base level of fitness and understand portion fix. If you are new to fitness or have more than 40 pounds to lose, I suggest completing a round or two of Autumn's program 21 Day Fix before starting 80 Day Obsession! And the good news is, if you start today you have time to complete 2 rounds before the new program launches!!

This program was created for:
  • creating a leaner, firmer, more sculpted body
  • adding curves without bulking up
  • developing a tighter, more defined booty and flatter abs
  • fitness fans seeking an intense, holistic workout for home or the gym

Shakeology No Bake Cookies

Over the weekend, I made Shakeology No Bake Cookies (or balls). I prefer to make these as balls rather than flattening them as cookies.  I've made them with both Chocolate and Vanilla Shakeology and both are good.  Using the Vanilla Shakeology actually creates Peanut Butter Balls...you don't really notice the vanilla...it just mixes in.  My girls and husband prefer the Peanut Butter Balls, but when I am craving chocolate...this is a great option!  The girls love helping with this recipe and it's super easy! Ingredients:  1 cup Chocolate or Vanilla Shakeology 1 cup all-natural peanut butter 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats 1/2 cup raw honey How to Make:  Combine ingredients into a medium bowl, mix well with rubber spatula or by hand. Roll mixture into balls about 1 inch in size. Put into container. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Enjoy cold. Home Workouts brought my Pre-Baby Body & Confidence Back

After having my two girls, I struggled with getting to the gym as its daycare hours didn’t work around my schedule.  The best day for me was Saturday morning and thenI had to gather my iPad, earbuds, towel, diapers, wipes and two girls.  By the time we were buckled into the car, 30 minutes later, someone had to go to the bathroom.  Then once we got to the gym, I did an hour of cardio while watching Mad Men and walked around the equipment trying to recall sessions with a personal trainer years ago.  Then a week later, we did it all over again and during the week, I walked outside a few nights a week.  My eating habits were somewhat healthy, but I finished my daughter’s mac and cheese and nibbled on her pretzels and goldfish during snack time. As a result, I didn't lose weight, I was tired and I was somewhat depressed as I missed the time and luxury of going to the gym before they were born. Then a friend posted her results from 21 Day Fix and I asked her a few questions th

Almond Joy candy vs. wonder whip

As Halloween approaches, candy options are more and more tempting.  Ok, maybe candy is tempting all year around!!  You want to think those little pieces of chocolate won't affect your weight goals, but they can.  Especially when it's hard to just eat one or two.  Personally, I would much rather have several bites of dessert than just one, so these wonder whip solutions are an amazing alternative to a few pieces of candy!! They are much more filling and satisfying!!  Whip up a bowl today and give your sweet tooth what it wants!!   Thanks to Ilana Muhlstein for sharing this recipe and her registered dietitian knowledge through the 2B Mindset Nutrition program and certified mentorship training!  B oth the Almond Joy candy and wonder whip have 235 calories, but you get a WHOLE cup with the whip rather than just two bites!!  Ingredients:  1 Cup 0-2% Plain Greek Yogurt 1 TBSP unsweetened Shredded Coconut 1 TBSP Cocoa Nibs 2 tsp. cocoa powder
