One of the things I love about UK and Beachbody is they both encourage professional development....I have a new book that I'm listening to from daycare to work and this is what I heard that stuck with me today....
"In life there are only three things you can control...your actions, your reactions and your mindset. That's it nothing more. So instead of whining about the things that are out of your control...focus your energy on what you can control... your attitude, choices, emotions, goals, visions, dreams, desires, and discipline. Discipline is choosing between what you have now and what you want most."I remember 3 years ago I was not happy with my body...I sat at the pool "whining" to myself that I couldn't get to the gym and I'd never have my pre-baby body back.
Then I saw a friend post her pics from doing home workouts and I decided to take control and change my attitude. I COULD get my body back..It would be hard work and I'd have to commit to working each day for 30 minutes and following a meal plan....But I'd still get to eat pasta and drink wine and I'd have what I wanted!!
So I just got over not being able to go to the gym and took action at home. I got started and never looked back!! I lost 10 pounds and then friends asked what I was doing and if I would help them. I started an accountability group in Facebook to pass on what I had learned and give support.
I'm still hosting these groups each month because I still have friends asking for help and telling me how the group support really works. Plus it helps me stay focused and committed to my own goals!!
I have another group starting next Monday, March 13 that will start with goal setting and meal planning and then provide support and accountability for 30 days. If you are a busy mom that can't find time to go to the gym and wants to lose 10-20 pounds like I did...
Let me show you how you can get results at home with a 30 minute daily workout and balance meal plan!!
There are 10 spots in the group starting on Monday, March 13. If you want to be included in the support group, email me at atabb01@gmail.com or complete the application below for more information.
